K9 Cop - Season 1 (2016)

Police officer LAI YAT-CHOW's main mission today is to follow a gangster; on the other hand, Sergeant FAI CHUNG-LIM gets in touch with CHING-CHING. CHUNG-LIM calls YAT-CHOW and tells him to arrest the gangster so as to get his USB flash drive. Though YAT-CHOW manages to subdue the gangster after a struggle, LUI KAM-TONG suddenly appears and turns the tables. YAT-CHOW and CHUNG-LIM later arrive at a restaurant, where YAT-CHOW learns about the falling-out between CHUNG-LIM and his second youngest sister SHUK-CHI, so YAT-CHOW teaches CHUNG-LIM how to cheer her up by giving her some money to spend. YAT-CHOW is very impressed that CHUNG-LIM's mother, SO FU-LIM, can run the family business single-handedly. Unfortunately, CHUNG-LIM shows no interest in running the business himself. Upon his return home, YAT-CHOW out of the blue sees LUI KAM-PO slowly approaching his younger sister, SHUK-CHU, with a knife in his hand.… ...

MA CHI-CHUNG and his co-worker ship the dog, BROTHER, to the animal shelter run by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), where CHI-CHUNG's older sister, MA CHI-HO, immediately tends to BROTHER's wound after seeing the dog hurt and bleeding. After checking out the dog, CHI-HO suspects that BROTHER was abused. As for YAT-CHOW, he has to be hospitalized after being bitten by BROTHER, and the wound makes him feel itchy and painful. Mistaking CHI-HO for a police officer, YAT-CHOW describes the moment he was bitten by the dog. YAT-CHOW learns that his new boss is the legendary cop, CHUNG WAI-KIN, and feels very excited. KUNG-YAN intends to clean the kennel, but fails to do so because BROTHER seems very aggressive. CHI-HO then offers some tips to KUNG-YAN, teaching him how to earn BROTHER's trust. Meanwhile, KAM-PO wants YAT-CHOW to throw him in jail in hopes of evading capture by KAM-TONG.… ...

With the video of the dispute between SHUK-FAN and CHI-HO uploaded to the internet by a third party, YAT-CHOW and his family members come to realise CHI-CHUNG's difficult childhood after viewing the video. YAT-CHOW goes to have a word with CHI-HO in an attempt to discuss CHI-CHUNG's intention to resign. However, as soon as he sees CHI-HO taking the dog BROTHER, he instead questions CHI-HO on why she has not put down the dog yet. Flying into a rage, CHI-HO starts lecturing him, and she even becomes so emotional that she starts to tear up. YUEN-KWAN asks CHUNG-LIM out on a date to see a movie, but CHUNG-LIM turns her down. In a hotel, TAI SAM spots SHUK-CHI entering in a room together with a man, so he instantly informs CHUNG-LIM about it. CHUNG-LIM dashes to the hotel, behaving as if he were insane, only to find it to be a misunderstanding.… ...

YUEN-KWAN walks into the police station with a bouquet of red roses, showing them off in front of the other police officers. WAI-KIN tells YAT-CHOW to go to a firing range and asks him about CHI-CHUNG's response. YAT-CHOW recalls that CHI-CHUNG not only kept talking bad about WAI-KIN, but also revealed his resentment and how he was treated wrongly during his childhood. WAI-KIN later returns CHUNG-LIM's resignation letter to YAT-CHOW, hoping that YAT-CHOW can convince CHUNG-LIM to withdraw his resignation because she thinks CHUNG-LIM is a good cop. While SHUK-CHI and CHUNG-LIM are preparing for their wedding ceremony, SHUK-CHI appears to be very excited but CHUNG-LIM seems preoccupied. However, SHUK-CHI doesn't realise it until YAT-CHOW points out to her that she didn't seem to understand CHUNG-LIM.… ...

YAT-CHOW is going to be sent to the Police Dog Training School for training, and he is convinced that it's WAI-KIN who transferred him on purpose. WAI-KIN disciplines YAT-CHOW, commanding him to run extra miles, following which WAI-KIN frankly discloses things happened between her and BEAST. After hearing that CHUNG-LIM's company is hiring a secretary, SHUK-FAN begs SHUK-CHI to introduce her to them for a job interview. Though CHUNG-LIM agrees to do so, FU-KWAI is strongly opposed to the decision. YAT-CHOW receives a phone call from a publisher who claims that they are interested in SHUK-CHU's picture book, instantly raising YAT-CHOW's anger to a fever pitch. According to YAT-CHOW, SHUK-CHU has already been deceived by the publisher twice. While urging SHUK-CHU to focus on her current career as a kindergarten teacher, YAT-CHOW also pressures SHUK-CHU to transfer all her money to his bank account.… ...
